Actor Akshay Kumar has been roped in as a brand ambassador for a new channel 'Sonic', dedicated to action loving young adults.
Sonic, which is part of Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, will have action and animation related show such as Shaktiman, Kung Pu Panda, Jackie Chan Fantasia, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Supastrikas among others.
The channel, which will go on air from December 20, will also showcase high octane action films like Dabangg, Singh is King, Gladiator etc.
"With superheroes, power packed animation and legends for all action lovers Sonic has everything for everyone," Akshay told reporters here.
The khiladi performed live stunts - jumping from one wall to other - during the event.
Interestingly, he even made the journalists do the stunts.
