Mumbai: It's official now -- Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will be tying the knot in less than three weeks -- on November 22. The date has been confirmed by her spokesperson.

The marriage will be solemnised on November 22.

Shilpa has decided that the nuptials will strictly be out of bounds for her Bollywood colleagues. While the actor had booked a villa in the Maldives for the pre-marriage party, she has curiously opted to conduct the marriage itself on a far humbler scale. The venue is the farmhouse of her business partner-cum-friend Kiran Bawa.

"She will be getting married at Kiran's farmhouse in Khandala. The wedding preparations are already on as we speak. None of her Bollywood colleagues are invited to the wedding but Shilpa will be hosting a reception two days later where all of them will be present. It was a decision that Shilpa and Raj have jointly agreed upon," said a close family friend of the star.

Though the reception venue will most probably be somewhere in Juhu, Shilpa apparently requested that the exact location not be announced just yet. The dates were decided by their family astrologer and according to sources, Shilpa didn't want to let such an auspicious date slip by.

Her sister Shamita, who missed the engagement because she's in the Bigg Boss house, may end up missing the marriage too. But hopes are still alive. The show ends in December, and the only chance Shamita has to attend the wedding is to be evicted before November 22.

The countdown has begun!

An exception for Shamita Shetty?
Bigg Boss concludes only on December 26, but sources say that if Shamita wants to attend Shilpa's wedding, the channel might allow her. "We'll take it up if they ask for it. Till now, there's no request either from Shamita or from Shilpa," said a senior Colors official.
