Abhishek Bachchan considers Patna lucky

Even though actor Shah Rukh Khan initially cancelled his Patna trip due to security concerns and, actor Abhishek Bachchan seems to be doing just the opposite. The actor has just coaxed his producers and has scheduled a Patna visit because he feels ‘connected’ with his fans there.

“Abhishek Bachchan has requested us to schedule a visit for Patna during his promotional tour of Players. So, we have pushed in December 24 as the date for his Patna visit. We are aware of the previous cancellation of Shah Rukh  Khan’s visit due to security concerns but Abhishek says that Patna should be included in the promotional map,” says a source.

Patna and other smaller cities are, more often than not, not included in the promotional campaigns, unless there are other events associated with it. “Abhishek had visited Patna during the promotions of his last film, Dum Maro Dum and his film got a very good reception. So he always regards Patna as his lucky city. So when we were figuring out the promotional map for Players, Abhishek said that Patna must be included in the map at all costs,” the source added. Abhishek meanwhile is going on a multi-city tour to promote his film along with the other star-cast of the film.
