Mumbai: If he's known as a perfectionist, it's for a reason. And now Aamir Khan, who is starring in a new commercial in which he'll be playing a ventriloquist, has called for veteran puppeteer Ramdas Padhya to train him in throwing his voice.

The actor is learning the art of ventriloquism from the famous Ramdas Padhya.

"Aamir will be dressed as a ventriloquist and pull off some funny acts. When he got to know he was supposed to do this for the commercial, he asked the production people to call in Ramdas so that he could learn his skills," says an insider.

Apparently Ramdas has already met Aamir a couple of times and the actor told him that he loved the puppeteer's talent and had been a big admirer right from the time Ramdas used to do a show on Doordarshan. Aamir (see pic) will also be dressed the way Ramdas used to in the 1970s and 80s, with long sideburns and sport a hairstyle Ramdas was known for.
