Aamir Khan's forthcoming film Peepli Live has been included in the Sundance Film Festival in its competition section. The film, directed by Anusha Rizvi, is about farmers' suicides.

The movie, which has versatile actors such as Raghubir Yadav, Omkar Das, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shalini Vatsa and Farrukh Jaffer, takes a satirical look at the predicament of a debt-ridden farmer who creates frenzy with a suicide threat.

The movie is one of the 14 films selected this year in the competition section from 1,022 international submissions. The 2010 Sundance Film Festival will be held between January 21 and 31 next year.
