A blast on the last day for Rani Mukerji

Actor Rani Mukerji was at her jovial best on the last day of the Durga Puja, on Sunday, as she danced and played with sindoor (a tradition at the Durga Puja) with her family that also included her aunt and National Award winning actor from Bengal, Deboshree Roy.

Rani looking ravishing in a white and gold saree danced and sang along with the crowd on the last day of her family Durga Puja (The North Bombay Sarbajanin Durga Puja Charitable Trust, supported by DNA).

She also played with sindoor with her closest friends, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and childhood friend, television actor Rupali Ganguly as her mom watched from a distance.

“It’s been a wonderful puja this year. I thank all the people of Mumbai who have taken time out to visit our puja. It’s been a roller-coaster ride for the whole family and I can’t say how much we are grateful to all the devotees. It’s really been a wonderful feeling to feel the love that everybody has showered upon us. I feel next time the puja will become even more bigger and better,” says Rani.
