Zee Cine Awards 2016: When Ranveer Singh was the best boyfriend to Deepika Padukone again

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are indeed the cutest couple in Bollywood. Though the two actors have never openly confirmed their relationship in public, their actions have always shown how lovey-dovey these two are. We got a glimpse of the same thing Saturday night at the Zee Cine Awards 2016.

An onlooker tells us, “Ranveer Singh was the only person who stayed for the show from the beginning to the end. He was as usual high on energy and excitement. He cheered for everyone and was also going up on stage each time Bajirao Mastani received an Award.”

He must have been on stage several times but there’s something really special he did for Deepika. Here’s what happened. “Deepika got both the Jury’s Choice and the Viewer’s Choice Best Actress Awards. When the first one was announced, Ranveer went up on stage and gave a wonderful speech praising her. But the second time when Subhash Ghai gave him Deepika’s Viewer’s Choice Award, Ranveer did something special. He FaceTimed Deepika and put her on speaker. Deepika who was shooting for her Hollywood project xXx: The Return of Xander Cage was on the sets that time. But she thanked everyone for their support.”

Ranveer didn’t give a long speech this time. Instead, he just made up for Deepika’s absence at the Awards. We loved it.
