Yami Gautam is excited to play a grey character in 'Sarkar 3'

Yami Gautam is looking forward to her role in the next installment of the Sarkar franchise. This will be her debut as a villain.

The actress told a publication, “This is the first time I’ll be playing a grey character; I will avenge my father’s death. I am really kicked about my role.” It's doubly special for her as she gets to work with Amitabh
Bachchan, something she's always desired. “It’s always been a dream to work with Amitabh sir. It felt surreal to be part of such an ambitious project. I got a lot of positive feedback after Ramu sir (Ram Gopal Varma) shared the first look of the characters on the social media (three months back),” says the actress.

For now, she is eagerly awaiting her next release Kaabil where she plays a visually impaired person. She says she wants to explore different characters. “I don’t have a filmi background. I have made it on my own. My attempt has always been to do something different every time,” she adds.
