The Great Khali feels that some people from the industry whom he trusted blindly have ruined his Bollywood dreams.

India’s only World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion Dalip Singh Rana aka The Great Khali feels that  some people from the industry whom he trusted blindly have ruined his Bollywood dreams.

“I am very sad about the films and TV show (Bigg Boss 4) that I did here. People are greedy and since I was new to the methods here I blindly trusted everyone. I regret doing Kushti and Rama The Saviour. However, I feel completely cheated and also repent having done Bigg Boss! They all have been such bad experiences for me,” he shares.

But the wrestling star doesn’t want these minor roadblocks to affect his future plans. “Bollywood is very complicated and one needs to be very careful about choosing his work. My wife feels very proud when I am either in the ring or act in films. So I do not want to be negative and refuse to work here. However I will now ensure that I take each step very carefully,” says Khali.

The actor who is at present awaiting the release of his French film, The Marsupilami adds, “Hollywood is very unlike Bollywood.

They are very professional and slightest change in a scene is informed to the actor days in advance. It is a very professional approach that they follow. Also once a deal is signed, it’s final. Here, a lot of times they don’t even know what the script is like, right till the time the scene is being shot.”

He, will however soon be seen working with Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari. “He is a friend and when he came to me with the role I liked my role and the script and decided to go for it. We will be shooting soon for the same.”

He adds, “I would love to work in a good Punjabi film too sometime soon. I love to do different things and I don’t know if someday I will produce films or even TV shows. As of now I am happy that I have a secured and very good job so all other things that I take up need to be so good that I will want to alter my WWE schedules,” Khali signs off.
