'Wolf of Wall Street' tops most pirated films list of 2014

Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf of Wall Street' has claimed the top spot in the list of most illegally downloaded film of 2014.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, piracy-tracking firm Excipio revealed that Disney's Oscar winning animated movie 'Frozen' was next to the true-life tale of corrupt New York stockbrokers, and both the films were downloaded around 30 million times by torrent users between 1 January and 23 December 2014.

The Leonardo DiCaprio starrer film had caused controversy due to its sex and drug-taking scenes when it was released in the US, and was also nominated for best picture at the Oscars.
