Actor Will Smith and Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino will serve on the 70th Cannes Film Festival's jury.

The two will be joined by "X Men: Days of Future Past" actress Fan Bingbing and German director Maren Ade and other previously announced jurors Jessica Chastain and Pedro Almodovar, reported Variety.

French actress Agnes Jaoui, South Korean director Park Chan-wook and French composer Gabriel Yared will decide the winner of the Palme d'Or, the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival.

Some of the official competition comprises, Robin Campillo's "120 Beats per Minute," Sofia Coppola's "The Beguiled," Hong Sangsoo's "The Day After," Sergei Loznitsa's "A Gentle Creature," Benny and Josh Safdie's "Good Time".

The awards will be handed out on the closing night of the festival, May 28.
