Are the citizens of Westeros and Essos safe from Brexit?

In the days leading up to the Brexit vote, reports suggested that TV's biggest show Game of Thrones could be impacted were Britain to leave EU.
The show depends on a certain amount of funding to be able to shoot on location in Northern Ireland where its shoots could be subsidised by the European Regional Development Fund. This is where the epic battle scene 'Battle of the Bastards' in the penultimate episode of season six was shot.
However, following Britain's vote to leave the EU, HBO released a statement addressing these concerns about its popular show-
“We do not anticipate that the result of the EU Referendum will have any material effect on HBO producing Game of Thrones. The show does get funding and tax incentives from other regional programs, but they’re not ones that are expected to be impacted by the vote."
According to Entertainment Weekly, Game of Thrones has not taken subsidies from this Fund for the last few seasons.
So that's a sigh of relief for fans of the drama. But things may not pan out so well for the rest of the British film and TV industry. The Guardian reports that losing EU's contribution to film and TV industry could be a big blow for producers, in terms of funding, co-production, buying and selling British films in Europe.
