Salman Khan had stormed theatres with his Eid release three years ago. The movie, in question is Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger. The film broke all existing records and collected around Rs 198 crore at the box office. Three years later, Salman and Kabir are gearing up for another Eid release- Bajrangi Bhaijaan. While most of Salman's films are critically trashed for their weak story or for the lack of it, Kabir's Ek Tha Tiger dealt with the Indo-Pakistan terrorism and secret agent deal. With BB, Kabir has taken a more Being Human approach to introduce Salman's character than being Dabangg, like all his other films. It has got a heart and the emotions are all scattered in the right places. From the promos, BB looks like a heart warming affair and knowing how the audience loves Salman and value emotions, BB is all set to bring about a box office tsunami. Shah Rukh Khan was delivering superhits when contemporaries Aamir and Salman were giving back to back blockbusters. People started writing him off at the box office and it was then SRK played his biggest gamble. A gamble that paid off amazingly well. He joined hands with Rohit Shetty for one of the best entertainers in the last few years. Another Eid release, Chennai Express was funny and was complete paisa vasool entertainment. As a result of which the cash registers soon started jingling and SRK not only delivered the biggest hit of his career but also smashed all pre-existing records of Aamir and Salman, thereby putting all his critics to rest. With Dilwale coming towards the end this year, it will be a big box office bonanza for sure. While a 200 crore business is given, it needs to be seen if the SRK-Rohit combo can hit the 300 crore bracket as well!
