Looks like Ajay Devgn might soon be seen in a movie based on the demolition of Babri Masjid.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the actor might soon be starring in a film set during the turbulent times following the demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992.

Apparently, writer Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame has offered Ajay the role and he liked it.

Titled Kabir, the film, which is set to be directed by Vijayendra himself, will reportedly, be produced by the Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani.

If sources are to be believed, "It is not a pro-government film. Kabir takes a look at the turmoil faced by the country after the demolition of Babri Masjid and one man's heroic attempt to stand up to the violence that followed."
