Will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stop endorsing the jewellery brand after the 'racism' fiasco?

The new jewellery ad featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had created a huge row and the brand was accused of racism after they juxtaposed a child into the picture. After the ad sparked protests on the digital platform, Aishwarya's spokesperson quickly responded with their reaction.

The team sent an official statement with the original picture attached. While the picture shows Ash sitting on the couch, adorning the jewels, the child was nowhere to be seen. It was the brand's creative team who decided on the concept and juxtaposed the child into the frame, thereby leading to huge protests nationwide. But after Ash released her statement, the brand too decided to withdraw the ad and apologised for hurting anyone's sentiments.

But the question that still remains unanswered is- whether Ash will still endorse the jewellery brand? "Given the fiasco, it's highly unlikely," informs a source. But when we contacted her spokesperson, she confirmed that Aishwarya will continue being the brand ambassador for the jewellery brand. 

The actress has decided not to take a step back after the owners rendered an apology for the same. She's happy that the team understood their mistake and has decided to withdraw the advertisement from all places. Aishwarya will continue her association with the jewellery brand and her spokesperson has quashed rumours of her withdrawing herself from being the brand ambassador of the jewellery brand.
