Why did Shahid Kapoor quit smoking?

Looks like Mira Rajput is the cause behind several good-wins for Shahid Kapoor. The couple got married on July 7, in a private ceremony. And now, the newly wed lass has finally convinced her hubby to quit smoking.

According to a report by a leading English daily, Shahid was not seen smoking for quite a while. Earlier a source had mentioned that, "He has almost become a chain smoker, a lot of unit members scolded him and even advised him to cut down on his smoking. I guess his break-up has affected him badly."

But now, the married man is ready to do anything which could please his wife Mira. The Jab We Met actor recently shared an adorable selfie with Mira while on board a flight.

According to the report, Shahid never fails to spend time with Mira, in spite of his tight-packed schedule. Earlier, there were reports as to how Mira will be seen in AK vs SK, an upcoming film of Shahid. But Shahid discarded the rumours by  claiming that its false as she is chilling with her family.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is presently occupied with the shoot of his next film Rangoon. is going to be seen with Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in Vishal Bharadwaj's next film. The Haider actor will then be seen in Udta Punjab with ex-Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh.
