Why Madhuri Dixit-Nene is not appearing in 'Nach Baliye 6'?

Madhuri Dixit Nene who is making a comeback in films after five years with Dedh Ishquiya is making her promotional rounds on TV shows. She has already appeared in Dance India Dance, Comedy Nights With Kapil (CNWK) and shot for Comedy Circus. However, the diva has not yet made an appearance on any of the Star Plus shows. Sources say that there was talk of her going on Nach Baliye 6, but since she is seen as a judge and the face of a rival celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhkla Jaa, “the channel was not keen on having her.”  However, when contacted, the channel refused to comment, while sources close to the channel denied it.

Also, Kiku Sharda who essays Palak in Comedy Nights With Kapil has been refrained from doing any comedy on Nach Baliye. “While they refer to Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi as the Pavitra Rishta couple, they consciously don’t mention Palak or CNWK while referring to Kiku,” adds the source. In fact, Sunil Grover who was part of CNWK is set to host a show on Star Plus!
