Why is Sanjay Dutt ANXIOUS about his biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor?

The biopic on Sanjay Dutt, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani has been in the news for a while now. Recently, Ranbir Kapoor, who essays Dutt in the film, was photographed on the sets sporting long locks with a beefed-up body.

The Kapoor scion's uncanny resemblance to Dutt took the internet by storm, and created immense anticipation among audiences. Even Sanju Baba was taken aback when he saw the picture that went viral online. The film will see a Christmas release and Dutt is getting anxious with each passing day.

A source told HT Cafe, "On seeing Ranbir’s pictures, Sanjay was absolutely amazed. The idea of the biopic being made was a thought that was being talked about. But now that the pictures have surfaced on the internet, the reality of the movie being made and taking shape, in order to take his story to the audience, is seeping in. He is getting anxious as to how people will react to the story." 

Did Ranbir get his mannerisms right, to which Dutt replied, "It is really amazing. Ranbir’s pretty much there and it’s unbelievable what he’s doing. I feel Ranbir’s one of the best actors we have, and to top that, there’s Raju Hirani."

Recently it was revealed that Kapoor will be donning six looks in the film. The looks will vary from the ones in Sanjay's movies such as Rocky (1976) and Khalnayak (1993), to name a few. He will also don the senior actor's look while he was in prison, along with a few other of the actor’s off-screen looks.
