Parth Samthaan, who has been ruling the TV roster with his effective portrayal of Manik Malhotra in small screen's youth based show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan has called it quits. Yes, the second season of the show will possibly be returning without Manik on the show.

The show's first season ends on a dramatic note this week as Manik’s mother, Nyonika Malhotra is maliciously plotting the murder of Manik’s ladylove, Nandini by planting a bomb in order to put an end to their relationship. Nyonika’s plans to assassinate Nandini meet with an unlikely twist of fate as Manik and Cabir get into the car which was supposed to be boarded by Nandini. The audiences are left wondering if Manik will anyway get off the bus and be safe.

Although there is no clarity on the plot line and whether the character will be killed off, now, we've learnt that no matter what, Parth Samthaan will not continue on the show anymore. And while everyone has been saying that it's a creative decision, the truth is something else.

A source from the sets tells us, "Niti Taylor who plays Nandini in the film and Parth don't get along with each other at all. Although they play leads on the show and are seen romancing each other on screen, off screen, their relationship is altogether very different. They have huge arguments over every little thing and the entire team is aware that the two actors cannot stand each other." Is that the reason why Parth is quitting? "Well probably, it might be one of the reasons for sure," adds our source. But given that Parth enjoys a huge fan following, especially among the youth, this would be a huge blow to the channel and the makers. "The channel is desperately trying to cajole him to stay back on the show," the source clarified. But the actor seems adamant on leaving the show, it seems.

Now, here goes the cat out of the bag. We hope Parth too reverts back on the same as soon as possible!
