Ekta Kapoor is gifting her Ek Villain director Mohit Suri an SUV next week, which she has already booked.
It's a known fact that if you make Ekta happy, she gifts you goodies costing lakhs of rupees (usually in the form of cars). Notes a source, "She gifted Ajay Devgn a 1967 luxury vintage car while he was shooting for Milan Luthria's Upon A Time In Mumbaai. She gave writer Rajat Arora, Rs15 lakh cheque to buy a car a couple of years ago after the release of Dirty Picture as she felt Rajat's dialogues and screenplay had contributed in a big way to the film's success."
According to the source, "At the time of DP, Ekta had told Rajat that if the film's collections crossed a certain number, she would gift him a watch, and if it was a higher number, a car. Similarly, she told Mohit that she would gift him a car of his choice if Ek Villain crossed Rs100 crore. The day it did, she called him to tell him she was sending him the car."
Few people know that Ekta herself loves cars and owns a fleet including a white BMW 7 Series Sedan and maroon Jaguar XJR which was gifted to her by her mother Shobha.
Ask Mohit and he doesn't deny the story. He instead quips, "Why don't you ask Ekta about it?"
