Why did Salman Khan back out of Anand L Rai's next film?

Salman Khan has his platter full with a series of films coming up in the next few years and Anand L Rai's untitled film was also in the pipeline. But after agreeing to be a part of the film, the actor has now decided to back out of the project. Here's why!

Salman seemed to have loved the idea of the script which required him to play a dwarf in the film. A noble idea in its own way, it would have been a role very different from what Salman usually subjects himself to today. hence the actor had readily agreed to be a part of the film. But all hell broke loose when the secret behind his role was revealed in the media. 

Once the news reprots started flashing the media, it angered Dabangg Khan who did not like the idea of his role already being dissected by the media although he tried to remain tight lipped about the same. Hence Salman has now staged a walk out.

Anand L Rai is busy shooting for Tanu Weds Manu 2 with Kangana Ranaut and had planned to start the new film with Salman which is yet another romantic story based in a small town. He has also got Hollywood VFX expert George Murphy of Matrix Reloaded and Jurassic Park fame on board  But now that Salman has walked out, the director might be in a mess for sure and he only has the little birdie to blame who leaked the details about Salman's role in the film.
