Aamir Khan is known to do the unthinkable. The actor who has repeatedly showed interest in working with Dibakar Banerjee and praised the director for his impeccable sensibilities reportedly declined an offer Dibakar made to him.

"Dibakar had approached Aamir to play the villain in his upcoming film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy", a source revealed. At a recent press conference, Dibakar too revealed the same. "Yes, I approached Aamir to play the villain because I thought we needed a villain who  would stand out in front of Byomkesh's dynamic personality and who better than Aamir", the director said.

"But he could not accept the offer and said he would let his one go. Later I realised why", he continued, "Aamir was already doing another negative role in Dhoom 3 and he had just signed the film that time. He did not want to do two negative roles back to back"

But before ending, Dibakar did cattily chip in, "YRF won something and lost out on something else". Well, this was Dibakar's version. But what's the real truth behind Aamir not willing to take up the role? A source reveals, "Aamir will never do something like this. The film is about Sushant's character and the villain will only be seen in shadows and masked till the climax where he will finally be unmasked. Aamir is a bigger star. Why would he even compromise for a young actor? It's out of the question"

Well, now you know why Aamir refused to be a part of DBB!
