Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier has become the latest to join the list of instant Internet sensations. The actress, who shot to fame by winking at her co-star in a song from her upcoming debut Malayam  film Oru Adaar Love, is setting new records by the clock. 

At first, she became a nationwide trend owing to a video clip from the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi, which features her arching her eyebrows, winking and blushing at her co-star. Soon after the said video went viral, Priya P Varrier became the third celebrity to gain over 600 thousand followers on Instagram in a single day, after Kylie Jenner and Cristiano Ronaldo. 

As if that wasn't enough, Priya has now broken another record. Not only has the song clocked over 9 million views on YouTube, but she has also been grabbing the eyeballs of netizens and has emerged as one of the most searched people on Google. Latest reports suggest that the keyword for her name 'Priya Prakash' has been searched much more than some of the popular Bollywood actresses. 

The Google search for Priya Prakash Varrier's name has left behind the likes of Sunny Leone, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the search results on Google in the past 24 hours. The 'girl who winked' her way to fame has now become more of a national love interest with the netizens crushing over her across the country.
