Bigg Boss 10 is around the corner and everybody is curious about who will be the participants this season. Already several names from VJ Bani to social activist Trupti Desai have been making the rounds. Lists are being drawn of celebrities who people would like to see in the house. We decided to ask the winners/contestants of every season to recommend one person they would like to see in the house this season.  And, all of them have come up with interesting personalities right from sportspeople, politicians to film and TV stars. Read on...

Rahul Roy
Bigg Boss (Season 1 winner)
Picks Abhinav Bindra: “He is an extremely articulate gentleman”

I would like to see a sportsperson. In fact, it should be somebody, who has been to the Rio Olympics. It could be someone from archery or table tennis. Every four years during the Olympics, the entire nation questions why we aren’t able to win medals.  It is a serious concern why we have no determination to create the necessary infrastructure for sports and give it its proper due. Everything is not about cricket or tennis. Of course they are great sports, but there are other sports too. Today, for a sportsman, it is all about his individual trials and tribulations, and the support from his/her family. It is their personal pride for the country that takes them that far.  Bigg Boss as a platform would provide the perfect vehicle for a sports person. For people to get to know about the sport, see the person as a human being, his aspirations and his journey in the sport. I would suggest Abhinav Bindra’s name. He won the gold medal in Beijing Olympics but was not lucky enough to win in Rio. He is an extremely articulate gentleman, who has been there and achieved it. The perception of the nation demanding victory each time, and questioning why it doesn’t happen will be cleared if somebody of Bindra’s calibre is in the house. The reality will come out. Let’s be fair. None of the sports people need Big Boss. They will be doing us a favour by sharing their stories with us.

Ashutosh Kaushik
(Season 2 winner)
Picks Amitabh Bachchan: “Everybody wants to know more about him as a person”

I would love to see Bachchan saab in the house. We have all seen him as an actor and I am sure everyone including me wants to know more about him as a person. And that is possible in the BB house. He will also be the elderly person there which will be good for all. As for winning or losing the game, I am sure nobody will evict him, it completely depends on him how much time he wants to be in the house. It will be his decision. If not him, I would suggest that the makers send me to the house again, and I will win it this time too!

Vindu Dara Singh
(Season 3 winner)
Picks Bhagwant Mann: ‘He is full of life and will be super fun”

I would love to see Bhagwant Mann in the house. I know him personally. He is immensely talented and extremely witty. He is a comedian, who is full of life. It will be crazy if he goes in there. He contested the elections for AAP and won by a huge margin. I don’t know if he will be able to go inside the house, but I would definitely like to see him. This time the show will have celebs along with  laymen, which is more dangerous. When ordinary people go inside the house they have nothing to lose in comparison to celebs.

Gauahar Khan
(Season 7 winner)
Picks Sunil  Grover: “He is hilarious and super entertaining”

The one person I would like to see in the house is Sunil Grover. Not only is he popular, he is hilarious and super entertaining. He will spread the much-needed cheer in the house. I know if he were to take part, people will miss him on the Kapil Sharma Show, but I am huge fan of his and will watch him wherever he is — inside the house or outside!

Sameer Soni
(Season 4 contestant)
Picks Arvind Kejriwal (if he wasn’t the Delhi CM): “His journey to the top is extremely fascinating”

If he was not the Chief Minister of Delhi, I would love to see Arvind Kejriwal in the house. He is extremely opinionated, he has opinions on everything from how everyone should behave to how the country should be run. It would be fun to see him 24/7. He is a very interesting personality. He is very vocal about what he thinks and feels.  At the same time, it will be nice to see how he is as a person. I don’t think of anybody else who has shot to fame in just three years — his journey to the top is extremely fascinating. Also, he is constantly in the news and that gets lot of people curious. From his point of view too, it will be interesting as he seems to have a lot to say.

Juhi Parmar
(Season 5 winner)
Picks her husband and actor Sachin Shroff:
“I want him to know how it is to be inside the house”

I would like to send my husband Sachin inside the house. Since I have been there, I want him to know how it is to be inside the house. However, he is diametrically opposite to me in nature. He is the kind of person who will keep to himself. He will not poke his nose in anybody’s business or fights. I used to get into fights with others, but Sachin will never do that. He will stay in the house calmly and quietly for as long as he is there.

Prince Narula
(Season 9 winner)
Picks Karan Patel: “He has a bindaas attitude so will be fun to see kaun unka shikar banega”

I would like to name Karan Patel because of his bindaas attitude. I have played with him in the Box Cricket League and got to know him well. He is straight-forward and tells you things upfront. He only fights with those who take panga with him. I am also like him, so it will be fun to see woh kis kiski bajayenge aur kaun unka shikar banega in the Bigg Boss house!

Puneet Issar
(Season 8 contestant)
Picks Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif: “All his double standards and lies will be exposed”

I have a list of five to six people who I want to see in the house, but the one on top-of-my-mind is Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. For the simple reason that all his double standards and lies will be exposed. In his speech at the UN he said that he doesn’t know who perpetrated the Uri attack. He projected Pakistanis as the victims of terrorism when Pakistan is the epicentre of terrorism. When the Americans were hunting for Osama Bin Laden and suspected he was in Pakistan, Sharif kept denying it. But finally, he was found near the Pakistani army camp. He is the biggest liar and even two weeks inside the house will be enough for the truth to come out. Bigg Boss house according to me is a correction centre. Jo bhi andar jaata hai woh bilkul sahi hoke nikalta hai.
