When the 'Lord of the Rings' fellowship reunited to use cutlery and fight a cave troll

Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd came together to recreate a fight scene from Peter Jackson's The Lord of Rings trilogy.

Five out of nine fellowship members came together in photos shared by Monaghan on his Instagram account. The gathering of elf, hobbit, human took the knives and forks off the table to use them as pretend Sting or Glamdring for a fight in the caves of Moria. Monaghan captioned the image with Boromir's (Sean Bean) quote, "They have a cave troll."

The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, the first movie of the trilogy based on JRR Tolkein's books, turned 15 in December 2016. This ragtag band was last seen together onscreen in 2003's Return of the King.

Though Sean Bean, Sean Astin, Ian McKellen, and John Rhys-Davies were not at the 'sort of' reunion, rest of the fellowship seems to have enjoyed the time.
