"I didn't feel the character offered to me gave me much scope. So I said 'No'; though Scarlett Johansson is an actor I would have loved to share screen space with," Irrfan mentioned in an interview to NDTV.

Director Ron Howard's Inferno is an adaptation of 2013 mystery thriller novel by American author Dan Brown.

The film is the sequel to Angels & Demons, and stars Hanks, reprising his role as Robert Langdon, along with Felicity Jones, Omar Sy, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Ben Foster.
