When bridesmaid Nimrat Kaur's dream for her 'baby sister' came true!

Nimrat Kaur's sister Rubina got married in the capital earlier this week. And the actress cannot stop gushing about her happiness over seeing her baby sister as a bride.

In an interview, the actress said that she had a wonderful time at the wedding. “It was indeed a perfect winter wedding. It was something she (Rubina) had dreamed of ever since she thought of having a wedding and it was also what I had dreamed of for her. It was a beautiful intimate ceremony with our loved ones and everything was just perfect. I had always wanted to see my baby sister as bride and the dream had finally come true,” Nimrat told IANS.

The actress wore a traditional mint green sharara with antique gold work designed by designer duo Rimple and Harpreet Narula for Rubina’s 'Anand Karaj' which is a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony. “I have been swamped with compliments and felt like a complete bridesmaid. I could not have wished for more and just can’t stop looking at the pictures!” Nimrat said excitedly. 

The designer duo who have described Nimrat as the “perfect” muse praised the Airlift actress by saying, “Dressing the beautiful Nimrat was a sheer pleasure. As Sikhs ourselves, we understand the sentiment and feel of an Anand Karaj in the morning. The colour was perfect keeping the weather in mind and the silhouette classic yet comfortable,” they said in a joint statement to IANS.
