Priyanka Chopra has been invited to the annual White House Correspondents Dinner with Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. The Quantico lass is among some of Hollywood’s biggest names like Bradley Cooper, Lucy Liu, Jane Fonda and Gladys Knight to have been invited for the special dinner, which will take place at the White House. After Hrs speaks to some of the leading stylists on what PeeCee should wear at the do. Should she opt for a Le Smoking jacket or a traditional Indian sari or perhaps a gown with an India-inspired drape and silhouette?

Pantsuit with a pop of yellow

Stylist Rick Roy says, "She should go the suit way. A well-cut Versace suit with yellow accents will be fab. Alternatively, she should opt for a blue Elie Saab outfit with an Indian feel- with a drape on one shoulder and interesting embroidery. Besides, she loves showing off her shoulder. It's fitted on top and also fluid.

Reference House of Cards

Stylist Divyak D'Souza says, "I like the fact that Priyanka Chopra is portraying a global image and not an Indian cliche. For the dinner she should keep it formal and elegant. Perhaps she should reference Claire from House of Cards - confident, sexy and self-assured. I'd suggest a tailored pantsuit from Stella McCartney who's deceptively simple. She should wear it with a bold mouth and polki earrings from an Indian jeweller.

Classic American look

Stylist Allia Al Rufai says, "I would love to see her either sport one of Americas greats at the White House like a classic Ralph Lauren gown or something special from Calvin Klein red carpet looks or something from Carolina Herrera. From the Indian aesthetic point of view, there is nothing more elegant flattering than a sari so something from beautiful from Abu Sandeep.

Indian works best

Stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania says, "Since it's a formal dinner, I'd love to see her in a navy blue blouse with a plunging neckline worn with a light blue sari from Payal Singhal. I'd also like to see her in a Rohit Bal kaidaar lehenga worn with a coat. Alternatively, I'd love to see her in Bibhu Mohapatra who's from Indian origin and has made India proud."

Sheer is sexy

Stylist Eshaa Amiin suggests, "A pristine white sleek Zuhair Murad gown with embroidered sheer panels will be the ideal ensemble for Priyanka Chopra to wear for the white house dinner, she can carry this look with minimal make up and a dash of colour on lips with a great clutch to complete the look.

Indian sari works best

Stylist Aastha Sharma says, "She should wear an Indian sari which is simple and elegant and always works well internationally. A simple sari which is not very ornate and gives her the right body language and also the hint of Indianness, since it's such a proud moment for her. She's never worn a Sabyasachi sari so should opt for something simple-yet-striking from the label or something from Rohit Bal, who's about intricacies and fine detailing. A chiffon or a Georgette sari is elegant and classic. If she doesn't want to take the Indian route then should opt for a pantsuit - look which she's never done before.
