What made Alia Bhatt cry?

It was barely a month ago that a number of B-town hotties such as Deepika Padukone, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt enduced envy by posting pictures of themselves enjoying a Coldplay concert live in Berlin, Germany. For Alia, who is a big fan of Chris Martin, the lead singer of the band (aka Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex husband) it was a special treat. 

So much so that she got a little emotional while seeing her favourite musician perform. She admitted in an interview, “I love Coldplay especially Chris, and I love their songs. I am a big fan. I love Beyonce too. But I am not as clued into her music. Coldplay’s music is part of my morning routine.” 

She listens to their album A Head Full Of Dreams quite regularly. Alia says she was not just impressed by the concert but the venue as well. 

She added the stadium was really big with at least 80,000 people present. “When I was there (at the concert) and I saw Coldplay and Chris on stage, I started crying. Imagine! I saw Chris Martin come up on stage and sing Yellow. I couldn’t believe it. It was amazing. The energy was crazy in Berlin. It was great,” said the actress.
