What is Aamir Khan's next film 'Dangal' about?

Aamir Khan might have received a lot of appreciation for his recently released PK including the film running past the Rs 300 crore mark at box office but our Mr. Perfectionist is already busy with his next project. Aamir who has signed Nitesh Tiwari's Dangal is prepping up to perfect his wrestler look for the film.

Now we hear that Aamir will essay the role of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. Aamir will play a father to two young girls who will play his daughters and Aamir will be seen encouraging his two daughters take up the sport. At a time when biopics have become the flavour of the season, Aamir has chosen Dangal, which will also pack in an aspirational message, asking for more parents to let their children do what they want. 

Aamir who has supported sports in various formats especially on his show Satyamev Jayate has decided to take up the role to encourage more and more people to get into sports. Satyamev Jayate's stint too had an underlying effect on his decision, sources revealed to a leading daily. Aamir is now busy with his preparations for the film.

The actor has been hitting the gym for two hours each day, undergoing rigorous training to get in shape for the character. Even during PK promotions the actor had instructed his team to make special arrangements and get him a high tech gym facility available. Like Dhoom 3, Aamir has also roped in a Hollywood fitness expert for Dangal.
