Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently revealed that the whole idea behind his upcoming flick Freaky Ali is to break the myth that golf is a game played only by the rich.
"Our film has this concept. It's a myth that golf is a game played by the rich only. We want golf to be played in the streets just like cricket," he said during a recent promotional spree for the film.

Nawaz, along with co-star Amy Jackson promoted their upcoming comedy flick by playing golf on the streets of Mumbai on Wednesday. The promotional event, organised by YouTube channel Being Indian, also aimed to raise awareness about pothole-filled Mumbai roads.

Speaking on the same, Amy said, "Obviously our film is about golf. So we have incorporated golf into raising awareness about the streets of Bombay and the potholes. And showing all the people how good Nawaz (Nawazuddin) is as a golfer. So we have putted a few balls into the potholes."

Sohail Khan directed and Salman Khan produced Freaky Ali, also starring Arbaaz Khan, is slated for a September 9 release.
