The pretty Indian-born model, actress, author and Top Chef host has recently released her book Love, Loss, And What We Ate‬. Chennai-born Padma Lakshmi was on Jimmy Fallon's show recently.  

Padma discussed her childhood in India, moving to New York with her mom and how she actually made her debut on Italian television. In the interview with Jimmy Fallon, Padma recounts how she made gaffes when she made her debut on Italian TV thanks to her lousy Italian.
