Watch: When Sonu 'Roadside Ustaad' Nigam met the guy who gave him Rs 12!

When Sonu Nigam, dressed up as an old man, took to the streets of Juhu and sang for hours under the sun, not one person recognised him. Passers-by were mesmerised with his singing and gathered around until he moved away to another spot, without realising it was the singer himself!

There was a certain someone who was so touched with his singing that he gave him Rs 12 as a token of appreciation. Being Indian, who had organised this entire 'Roadside Ustaad' social experiment, tracked down Shahbaz Ali Sayyed and invited him to meet Sonu Nigam. The only twist: he had no idea he was going to meet the singer himself! The entire meeting was just too cute as Shahabz was overwhelmed and hugged Sonu. 

The iconic singer also framed the Rs 12 and kept it alongside the other awards he has won over his illustrious career. Sonu Nigam chatted with a slightly starstruck but very sweet Shahbaz. 

As Sonu Nigam's latest single 'Crazy Dil' was released on May 24, he took to interacting with his his on Facebook live in which Shahbaz was also invited. Check out the video here!
