Salman Khan, along with Kabir Khan, Sohail Khan and others from the crew, launched the first song of his much awaited film Tubelight. The song launch event took place in Dubai, where the actor is currently shooting od Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai along with Katrina Kaif, which is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger.

During the song launch event, Salman Khan revealed the reason why the first song from the film is called The Radio Song. He informed that the song is about celebration. "We get the good news that my brother is alive and coming back. That is the reason why the song is there….and we receive the good news through the radio, so that is why the song is called The Radio Song” he shared at the press conference of the event.

It's already known that Tubelight is set against the backdrop of the Indo-China war and Salman's brother plays a soldier who's fighting the war.

Director Kabir Khan further added, "As Salman said this is a celebratory song, an end-of-the-war song. It is set in 1962, so the radio is essentially the only means through which news could be obtained. Everything in life – news, entertainment came through radio. So, radio plays an essential role in the film.”

While the movie is set to hit the theatres on June 23, watch these videos from the song launch event right here:
