Watch: Teaser of 'Pandigai' starring Kreshna and Anandhi

Pandigai was launched last year and stars Kreshna (director Vishnuvardhan's younger brother) and Anandhi. The movie is being directed by Feroz Mohammed who got married to actress Vijayalakshmi last year. It's being produced by Vijayalakshmi's banner called Tea Time Talks.

Pandigai is said to be an action-comedy, a genre that Kreshna is quite familiar with. The trailer of this was recently released.

Director Feroz had stated that this was a gangster movie which revolves around an orphan played by Kreshna. He grows up in a boarding school where everyone is beaten and threatened and he believes that what life is. He gets caught up with some gangsters and how he escapes from them is the main story. The second half of the movie is said to be along the lines of a black comedy. 

Saravanan of Paruthiveeran fame and Madhusudhan Rao from Goli Soda play the villains in this film which also has Nitin Sathya and Karunas.
