The much-awaited Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer 'Sultan' trailer is out and we can say just one word- Amazing!
The three-minute trailer also showcases Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh along with Salman. Randeep plays Salman's coach in the film while Amit portrays Salman’s younger version.
Anushka who plays the role of Aarfa in the film is playing Salman's lady love and we are amazed with her wrestling moves and her Haryanvi accent will take you by surprise. Aarfa is Haryana ki Sherni and Sultan Ki Jaan.
The film is raising the temperature really high with the soaring performances by both Salman and Anushka.
There is love, there is glory and moreover, there is mud slinging performance by the actors.
There is also a bit of the 'same old' Salman types comedy in the movie. It revolves around the life of Sultan and Anushka comes to put a hold on his ambitions where she says, "Sultan theher ja, sapne dekhan achhi baat hai par kayi bar unke piche daudte-daudte apne piche chhut jate hai (Sultan, it is okay to dream big but sometimes in order to achieve them, we let go of our own people)."
Then, comes a point when Salman is seen showing his pot belly, all set to wrestle and his coach Randeep refuses to train him. And what happens next is what every Bollywood films has, at least every sports-centered movie does. The hero works hard, runs, practices and Salman does the same. Oh, yeah the dialogues. His Haryanvi accent is going to charm you, at least doesn't sound fake.
And the fight begins... After all "wrestling is not a sport. It's about fighting what lies within."
Sultan directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra will hit the theatres this Eid.
