Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer romantic-thriller Dil Se marks a successful 18 years today and the Badshah of Bollywood made it special in his own charming way.
The 50-year-old actor shared a black-and-white video on Instagram where he is seen re-creating a dialogue from the movie, adding "Dil Se 18 years, Thank you everyone," with a background music of its famous track 'Aye Ajnabi.'

The video was captioned as "Dil Se Thank u Mani Sir Rehman Santosh Manisha Farha And the whole Team".
"The one u love the most is sometimes not loved by most...but the love doesn't change. My favourite. #18yearsofdilse," SRK captioned the video.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, the movie marks the Bollywood debut of Preity Zinta, in the year 1998.
The 41-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle to share the excitement and wrote, "#18yearsof_ Dil Se Thank U @iamsrk @mkoirala & #Manisir 4my journey from Criminal psychology to movies #destiny"

Dil Se.. portrays a tragic love-story with a backdrop of terrorism and insurgency in Northeast India, which completed Ratnam's terror-drama after Roja and Bombay.

The film was screened at the Era New Horizons Film Festival and the Helsinki International Film Festival.
Noted for its non linear screenplay, Dil Se.. won awards for cinematography, audiography, choreography, and music, among others. The film was a success overseas, becoming the first Indian film to enter the top 10 in the United Kingdom box office charts. It also won two National Film awards, and six Filmfare awards in the year 1999.
