After a bit disappointing trailer, new song from Bombay Velvet might just help the movie get momentum before the May 15 release.

The movie is set in 60's Bombay where Johnny Balraj, Rosie and Kaizad Khambata, played by Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Karan Johar respectively, are persuing their own motives.

New song is a reinvention of original sung by Geeta Dutt in 1956 movie 'CID' starring Dev Anand and Waheeda Rehman. Named 'Fifi', the song starts with nice jazz drums and takes you to the glorious 60's era. The peppy song has a nice compilation of melodeon and violins.

Along with the original star-cast, the song cum trailer features Kay Kay Menon in a moustache and mafia-ish look. Looks like the movie might just start a trend of 60's staches along with possibly reviving 60's fashion.

Based on Gyan Prakash's book, Mumbai Fables the movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap.
