Watch: Maroon 5's Adam Levine bares it all in new video 'This Summer'

Fans of American pop-rock band Maroon 5 were disappointed when the band cancelled the Liverpool concert of the European leg of their world tour because lead singer Adam Levine had a throat problem.

While Levine has been advised by doctors take it easy for a while, the singer's fans were in for a treat on Saturday when the band released the video of their new song.

Titled 'This Summer's gonna hurt like a motherf****r', the song was first unveiled at The Voice when the band performed it live.

The video starts with Levine stepping out of the shower wrapped in nothing but a towel as he gets ready to perform for a jam-packed crowd. But a few seconds in, unsuspecting fans also got a scintillating look of Levine's glorious derriere! Fans of Levine may well have forgiven him for the cancelled concert now.

The new single continues the palette change the band started with their album 'Overexposed' and then 'V'.
