What can safely be regarded as the biggest concert of the year 2016 in India, the Global Citizen Festival featuring the British rock band Coldplay, has finally come to an end.
The concert had music enthusiasts from all across the country thronging the venue in Mumbai, even as celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Freida Pinto and others also made an appearance.
Fans were also thrilled with an unexpected treat as Coldplay neared the end of their set.
AR Rahman was called on stage by band frontman Chris Martin and together they sang Rahman's all-time best Maa Tujhe Salaam. What set this performance apart was that Chris Martin joined in and actually sang a few lines of the song in near-impeccable Hindi.
Just in case you missed it, here is the video of Maa Tujhe Salaam by AR Rahman featuring Coldplay.
