Arjun Kanungo and Momina Mustehan collaborate for a single and it's already making all the right noise on social media...
Singe, composer and actor Arjun Kanungo has teamed up with acclaimed singer and songwriter Momina Mustehsan for a mid-tempo ballad titled Aaya Na Tu. The music video of the song has already been unveiled and it's creating all the right noise on social media. The chemistry between Arjun and Momina (whom you might remember from her rendition of Coke Studio's Afreen Afreen along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan) is pretty palpable.
Arjun continues to embrace new sounds and collaborations with this release as Aaya Na Tu has been composed by him and written by Kunaal Vermaa. The song has been crooned by Arjun and Momina and it highlights the emotions of pain in rejection. Laced with a beautiful melody, the song captures the emotion of being left behind in love. Aaya Na Tu also addresses the undying nature and burden of true love.
The official music video, shot in Bangkok beautifully captures the essence of the song with interplay between both artistes bringing out the emotions of Aaya Na Tu.

Speaking on the release, Arjun Kanungo said, “Momina has been a joy to work with. We ended up making a song we’re proud of and also ended up being good friends. Vinit Thakkar and the good folks at Universal Music have been so supportive of my vision for the song and the music video from the beginning. Being part of every phase of this song from composing the song to shooting the video, it’s been a blast to work with everyone involved. I am very proud of what we have achieved as a team!”
Commenting on her debut single, Momina Mustehsan added, I’m grateful to Arjun for sharing such an awesome song of his with me. He, along with the Universal team, instantly became friends more than colleagues. This is my first single, and the encouragement and support I got from the whole team was overwhelming. This was also my first time playing a character for a video and Danny was an incredible director to work with. It was truly a pleasure being a part of this project alongside such a motivated, supportive and hardworking team.
