Benedict Cumberbatch had a fantastic time at the box office for Marvel's Doctor Strange. Then earlier in January, Sherlock returned to small screens for its fourth season garnering rave reviews for the finale. So What's next for the star?

Cumberbatch is currently filming The Current War, a story based on the competition between Thomas Edison (played by Cumberbatch) and Goerge Whitehouse to monopolise the electricity market for American people. Directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, the movie stars Michael Shannon, Katherine Waterston, and Tom Holland.

Despite the busy schedule, Cumberbatch took out time to feature in the music video of British band Elbow's new song Gentle Storm.

The song is part of Elbow's seventh studio album Little Fictions. It is a tribute to Godly & Creme's 1985 video Cry, reports Mirror.co.uk. In the video, faces of band members and their friends and family are seen blurring into one another, including Cumberbatch's.

This is the first time Cumberbatch collaborated with Guy Garvey. The band made a failed attempt at getting the actor to rant in 'King Lear' fashion between the two verses of their song at 2014 Glastonbury Music Festival. Just like Beyonce did with Destiny’s Child’s ‘Independent Women.'
