Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Thoongavanam is creating a big buzz. The film, directed by Rajesh Selva, a long-term associate of the actor, stars the Ulaganayagan opposite Trisha. The film's cast also includes Prakash Raj and Kishore.

Shooting had been proceeding at a brisk pace and the movie is said to be nearly complete now. It looks like a family-based crime thriller. Kamal is married to Asha Prakash and they have a son who gets kidnapped. This seems to be the crux of the story.

The music for the film is by M Ghibran and Kamal Haasan has sung a song in this film as well.
