I vote every time we have an election and this time too I shall do so. In my family this time, except dad, everyone should be able to vote including my children Ahaan and Athiya. It is very important to vote and I have always encouraged my friends, family and staff for the same. I am travelling for my next release, Koylanchal but we are making sure that we avoid any cities where there is voting going on.

This year I would like to be the #dnavoteguru and say vote against corruption. I know people who had to pay Rs500 for a death certificate. We should not stoop so low! We need to vote for people who will be accountable. Government workers should have the fear of the people who are on top. What is the mindset of a man who is asking for money and how bitter is the man paying for someone's death certificate?

This year voting is special. The elections are special. The media has done an amazing job - be it radio, television or print. It has been extremely responsible and have asked people to come out and vote. Which is why we see almost 70- 80 per cent of voting this time. I am in Baroda right now and I see only hoardings around me - not of any political party but saying let's be the No. 1 city to vote. It's amazing! I hope this year a single large party comes to power. We should vote for candidate, who is honest and will actually check corruption.
