The actor said he feels blessed to be a parent and was busy putting together a 'Cars' themed party for his son.

At the recent IIFA Utsavam awards, actor Vivek Oberoi was one of the Bollywood actors who had come to be part of the event.
After talking about how young turks were the future of the entertainment industry at the FICCI event that was part of the IIFA Utsavam, Vivek opened up about his family.
Vivek said he feels blessed to be a parent and that he misses his kids when he is away from them. He revealed that his son Vivaan wanted a Cars-themed party for his upcoming birthday. "After having kids, I realise that there's a whole underground world for children. I am working on getting his birthday organised and I know so much about Cars now!" he laughed. "My daughter, Ameeya, is just eight months old," he added.
The actor was born in Hyderabad and has a strong affinity to the south. He has adopted villages in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh as part of his philanthropic activities. He recently went to his adopted village Muthavakuntlapalli of Kanaganipalli mandal in Andhra Pradesh on January 13.
