Yash Raj Film's (YRF) Bank Chor has been in the pipeline for long now. After Kapil Sharma walked out of the project, YRF had brought in Riteish Deshmukh to play the lead opposite Rhea Chakroborty of Mere Dad Ki Maruti fame. And now, finally Aditya Chopra is teaming up with Vivek Oberoi, twelve years after Saathiya, for this project.
Videk, who joins his Grand Masti co-star, will play second fiddle to Ritesh in the film. The film is a mad cap comic caper, revolving around three stupid people trying to rob a bank and the circumstances that follows suit. While Ritesh plays the leader of the Bank Chors, Vivek will play a CBI officer who creates havoc in the lives of these thieves. Vivek, who has loved the script, has finally given his nod to the film.
Bank Chor will go on floors immediately and is scheduled for an early 2015 release. And with both Ritesh and Vivek riding super high on their recent successes, Bank Chor might just add another feather to their hats!
