Vir Das goes the Justin Bieber and One Direction way!

It was reported widely in the press last year that comedian-actor Vir Das is set to travel to 21 countries across six continents for his comedy world tour, The Boarding Das World Tour. 

Now, buzz is, Vir wants to follow in the footsteps of international musicians like Justin Bieber and One Direction, and make a documentary of his tour. He shared with a tabloid hitlist, “I am kicked about putting this together. I begin [my tour] in the US next month and want to capture the essence of what comedy can do. The documentary should release next year, as a theatrical. It will be an experiential film, made under 90 minutes, interspersed with performances and behind-the-scenes details,” he says.
