Viola Davis' daughter pays Emmy tribute on Instagram

As Viola Davis continues to celebrate her historic Emmy win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, her three-year-old daughter paid tribute to her mother on Instagram.

Genesis Tennon features a cute video of her delivering special message for her mother, reported Ace Showbiz. In the clip, Genesis said, "I love you mommy and I hope you win another Emmy. You're my favourite girl and I love you." 

Sporting what appeared to be her school uniform with her hair styled in a bun, the little girl ended the video by blowing kisses and showing off her purple nail polish.

Davis, 50, later shared a photo of Genesis posing with her mother's stunning Neil Lane jewels from the Emmys. The "How to Get Away with Murder" star wrote alongside the snap, "Genesis posing with my Emmy Neil Lane jewels. Don't know where she got that pose from. My baby!"

Davis won the Emmy Award for her role as Annalise Keating on "How to Get Away with Murder".
