Vikram’s movie with Anand Shankar to kickstart in December!

The buzz the last few days has been that Vikram’s project with director Anand Shankar is set to take off again. Kalaipuli Thanu was supposed to produce the film, but it has now changed hands to Puli producer Shibu Thameens. Thanu is currently busy with the Rajinikanth film Kabali.  

When the project was announced six months ago, it was rumoured to be titled as 'Marma Manithan'. Vikram was said to be playing dual roles in this action film. The actresses who had been roped in then were Kajal Aggarwal and Bindu Madhavi. Priya Anand had been signed, but then she opted out and Bindu Madhavai was brought in. The movie was set to be shot in Malaysia, but it had not taken off.  

The latest buzz is that the movie is going to kickstart asap and the team is likely to go to Malaysia next week to do a recce of locations. The shoot will commence in December itself, say sources.
