Varun Dhawan happens to be the youngest actor in Abhishek Bachchan’s football team that will play against Virat Kohli’s team in a charitable football match in New Delhi on Saturday.

But the young actor is quite a pro when it comes to the sport and can’t wait to show his footwork on the field.

Varun will be seen wearing jersey No 24, and insiders reveal that it’s not a random number.

Says an insider, “Varun’s birthdate is April 24 and the number has proven to be very lucky for him. Varun was 24 when he signed his first film: Student of the Year. Though not overtly superstitious, Varun does believe that the number brings him luck.” Well, let’s hope the number works it’s magic for the actor on the field too.
